Have you already obtained a QR code for lawful work with children?
As of 2024-11-01, the amendment to Article 30 of the Child Protection Act has come into effect, stipulating that all individuals working or engaging in activities involving direct and regular contact with children must have a valid QR code.
Key dates and requirements:
• From 2025-01-02, you can apply for the issuance of a QR code.
• By 2025-01-31, a QR code will be required for:
o Everyone who wishes to work, volunteer, intern, or train in fields related to children (in social, educational, sports, healthcare institutions, companies, or organizations).
o Individuals providing individual services directly related to children.
o Employees in other organizations (including religious communities) if their activities involve direct and regular contact with children.
For employers: Employers will be required to verify all employees, volunteers, and other individuals working or providing services with children.
Special attention is given to social, educational, sports, and healthcare institutions – all employees of these institutions must be verified by 2025-04-30.
